The goal is to pocket all your assigned carrom men (black or white) before your opponent — and to pocket the red coin (queen) with the proper cover.
b. Queen Rule (Red Coin)
To win the queen, you must pocket it and cover it by sinking one of your own coins in the next shot. If not covered, it returns to the center.
c. Foul Rules
Common fouls include pocketing the striker, sinking an opponent’s coin, or failing to hit any coins. Fouls usually result in a penalty — giving a coin to the opponent.
d. Striker Use
You can only use the striker to hit the coins. The striker must be placed correctly within the baseline before each shot.
e. Winning the Game
The game ends when a player pockets all their coins and legally covers the queen. The final score may include extra points if the opponent hasn’t pocketed any coins.
