5.Pocketing the 8 Ball
You can only pocket the 8 ball after all your group balls are cleared. Pocketing it early, or during a foul, means you lose the game.
6.Ball in Hand Rule
After a foul, your opponent gets “ball in hand,” meaning they can place the cue ball anywhere on the table for their next shot.
